Human Resources Intern

THE ROLE

As an Intern at Ncontracts, you will work on meaningful assignments, collaborate with team members, and gain insights into your field of interest. We are looking for a driven Human Resources Intern, reporting to the Vice President of HR, to support several HR functions and special projects. The primary goal of this role is to support the HR department by helping to improve HR workflows and process improvements – including HRIS audits and documentation, Learning Management content review, recruitment coordination, and AI utilization. While also gaining experience with HR systems and processes. The intern will have structured learning, project work, mentorship and opportunities for networking. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • HRIS Administration (documentation audits, process flow testing and documentation, job structure coding)
  • LMS Course Content (review and recommend content)
  • Recruiting Support (ATS administration, interview scheduling, job description audit, Develop EVP & external branding)
  • AI Tools for HR Research Project (research, demo, and recommend AI solutions based on team needs)
  • Assist with departmental projects and daily tasks
  • Attend team meetings and contribute ideas
  • Shadow team members to gain understanding of roles and workflows
  • Complete a final presentation or capstone project summarizing your experience

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Computer Science, HR, Finance, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, organized, and eager to learn new tools such as an HRIS
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel; experience with other tools a plus
  • Previous internship or volunteer experience is a bonus but not required
